Cricut Weekly Challenge #4 - BOO!

Here's my entry for this week's challenge! To create a Halloween project using some sort of transparent overlay. For this one, I needed to make a birthday card for a friend (with a Halloween birthday) so this was perfect! Right away I knew what I wanted to do - a coffin card (which I made on my new Gypsy!) with a window covered in inked vellum. Inside the coffin is a skeleton. Simple but fun! Here are some photos!

Think Pink Entry!

I know it's been WAY too long since my last post, and I have done a couple projects, but life has been very busy! When this challenge was posted, I was really excited to participate! I decided to do a layout of my little girl in her sweet tutu. I would love to dedicate this to my MIL, a wonderful lady and a queen!

I used Once Upon a Princess to cut out the Poodle and phrase, embossed the poodle using a French script stamp and black embossing powder and adorned with pink pearls. I used pink and purple ink on the phrase and scalloped accents and embossed them with a holographic powder. I used Cindy Loo for the glitter frame, flower, and the bird, added a purple ribbon accent and black ribbons from the bird's mouth and embellished with pearls. I am working on the other side of this 2 page layout now and hope it won't take me a week to do, but it might! Will post when it's done!
