Summer Fun

I had a wonderful time coloring up these amazing summer themed images using my Spectrum Noir markers!  The first one is called Skippy and Bobbin and is a beautiful high quality rubber stamp from Whimsy Stamps.

And the second one is called Now That's Something You Don't See Everyday from The Paper Shelter.  Their digis are some of my faves and I hope you go check them out and do some shopping!

Fun with Fruit Gals

I have some new stamp love - Simply B Stamps.  Oh, man, Betty has some amazing creations and she is constantly coming up with new and gorgeous stuff!  Her images are a delight to color and they are all so different!  I definitely recommend checking them out!  Here are two that I've colored up this last week.  They are both from Fruit Gals and I just bought the set!  I've colored up the other 2 as well and will be posting those as soon as I finish putting them on something!

I also used Spectrum Noir markers to color these.

Shades of Gray

I just love doing monochrome colorings!  Maybe it's because my photographic roots began in a darkroom processing my own B&W film and prints.  That was my favorite place to be.  Whatever the case, I'm thrilled to be able to do them when I can, but as much as I love color, I think using shades of gray can even be more challenging.  I was THRILLED when Amanda over at Faery Ink said that this month's challenge was to go B&W with a pop of color.  I couldn't even wait - I went and colored up one of my favorite images right away!
This particular image is Amber Heart Fae and I colored using my Spectrum Noir markers.
